CDJ-1000... flightcases??

...thanks drc, tried both of those I'm afraid, loads of cases but none CDJ-1000 shaped!!

I need something like the one on the US site, with the flap for front loading etc...

Any Ideas??

This will deffinately help increase the life of your eqipment.

I've got the RoadReady case. I'm wondering what happened to the old red and white pioneer forums, since there was a great thread on this topic there (maybe try searching their new forum: http://pioneerprodjforums.com/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=UBB9&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=)

At any rate if you get anything that puts direct pressure on the platter mod the case so that there isn't!

Witht he roadready case I simply ripped out the foam pad and cut it in half, then I glued it to opposite ends of the lid. So now the pressure is on the body, not the platter.
 
i special order cases from ProCases all the time for pro guys. they are made like tanks, very much like anvil cases. send me a PM or email me for info.

i don't know if it's worth it if you get hit with customs charges.
 
Hi all and thanks for the help...

I spoke to Jase at Spider-engineering, and although they don't stock these cases, can make one to spec for me (ie. with the front flap, and taking into account the pressure/platter issue).

...I suggested maybe they should make a few more of these as I can't believe there's no-one in the UK making them already!!
