Decks matter almost as much as your mixer. You could have the best mixer on earth and be the greatest DJ ever, but with crappy decks, you'll still sound awful. Decks matter. Mixers matter. Carts matter. Everything matters.

S*@T decks = s*@t mixer = s*@t music, the mixer is only has good as the decks that supply the sound to it, u need both 2 b fairly decent to accomplish a decent set, If u ask me i think decks r alot more important than the mixer at first because ur learning at the start so ur only gonna be doing basic beat matching where as 4 decks u always gonna b better with a good set of decks with a high torque output cuz u dont wanna b waitin half a hour 4 ur decks to get up 2 speed, its a bit like havin a mint car but with a lawn mower engine, it just dont go! Also if u have a good set of decks when u get better its cheaper 2 upgrade to a better mixer than it is 2 go out and by better decks.

Hmm well id say buy the best with the money you have. dont fall short on anything. A weak link in ur setup is a dead link
