Anya yall ever come across good finds in pawn shops or second hand stores or whatever for equipment like 1200s or 1210s?

figured they might not know the value sometimes?

is it possible? anyone got any stories?

Check out ebay. Some go for some pretty damn low prices. Plus there are always some nice mixers goen for low prices aswell (Vestax, Rane, somtomes Ecler). I duno about pawn shops or whatever but I hear they are a good option aswell.

ebay was dope they had 1200s for like 250 buy it now option. that was sick. and it came with a stanton al 500 needle. so that probably means that guy wasnt doing heavy cutting. i think ebay is the best place. but from a local record store i got mines second hand for like 750 for a pair like 3 years and i havent had one problem yet. only thing was the tone arm clip on one of them is broken. but other than that i have absolutely no complaints. just make sure its working and nothings wrong with the tone arm

Yeah I agree, look on ebay and if you search hard enough you'll find a good deal.I got a 1210 mk2 with m447 for 200 and everything is working pefectly. The only thing is you gotta watch out for frauds.Be sure to read the description carefully, ask questions, and check feedback. But other than that you'll probably find a great deal

if you can find a Tech in good condition at a pawn shop for between $200 - $250, that's a good price.

you'll find better deals on Ebay but won't get to test them before you buy.

I saw a MK2 the other day for like $160 no needle and I think the pop up light was messed up or something. This was at a local pawn shop.

ebay - i've gotten a few 12's for $50 that needed minimal work/parts. just saw one go on ebay for $75 that needed feet and a popup light - i think that was it. deals are out there, get creative with your ebay searches. i love it when people mispell their listings and they are not noticed... - jeff h

Yea if it needs the light bulb in the pop up lights just talk to Dynagroove he has a great popup light mod and so if it don't have a bulb just go with his blue light mod. I know I love mine.

busted Techs are great fixer-uppers! most issues can be fixed at home for under $100 in parts.
