Your favorite effects unit / effect

I'll start by saying I really enjoyed Pioneer's EFX500.
I'm just getting into sampling and VSTs. (not STDs )

really liking the kp3.they really upgraded it from there previous model

Yeah baby the EFX500 rocked... I used one for years with a live vocalist, doing pretty much remixes of him on the fly, catching the crowd and throwin' it back in... Crazy stuff. Pioneer released the 1000, which is a minor upgrade at best, but still solid. Hard to improve on a good thing.
