What's the dealio with pioneer cdjs?

I'm not hating or anything, but how come all the big time EDM djs always use Pioneer CDJs and mixers?
You can still sync on that and peep at the bpm can't you? so what sets it apart from everything else?

They've simply become the industry standard. They set a precedent with their earlier CDJs, and now they are the kings of the castle.

The big names use them because the big clubs have them
