Is the traktor s8 good for EDM Djs?

I saw this controller and i think its just amazing, lots of functions, but i think it was made mostly for techno.
what would be better for Progressive house dj pioneer or this kind of equipment.

DJ equipment has the power to play ALL genres. there is no EDM button. Get the one that speaks to you, start cheap if you haven't DJed before. Music is music and DJs are DJ's. and trance and EDM are one in the same believe it or not. Trance just came out long before the term "EDM" came to exist.

pioneer is a brand not a type of equipment. Get what feels natural;
