Hello.

10+ years ago i had two turntables for scratching: ttx1 and str8 80.

Now i have one sk6f mixer and i am looking to buy one turntable again but not so expensive as ttx and str8 80.

Ιn my country i find st62 for 100 euro. Is it worth?

Thank you!

If I were you I wouldn't go for it, for not much more (or even the same money) you can buy vestax pdx which is one of the best scratching turntables ever. You are interested in direct drive and high torque. Stanton st 60's motor is around 1kg/cm which is not much compare to another direct drive turntables. Technics (around 1,5 kg/cm)
Vestax pdx (around 2kg/cm)
Numark ttx (around 2,5kg/cm)
Stanton str8 150 (around 4,5kg/cm).
I cannot find the specs of str8-80
Consider yourself what was the feeling on it and if you want something stronger or weaker
