im trying to do mobile gigs but its costing me tooo much to rent...
so-
I am considering powered speakers- as they seem cheaper in the long run, but if someone can post a non-powered model + amp thats under $800 please do so!!
I dont wanna spend more than $800 so here are some powered options, please feel free to suggest other powered models, non powered models and amps...

what do you guys think?? Is 300w loud?-as in lound enough to cover a small hall?
