Omnitronic make top products, and theres no doubt about it. I've used omnitronic mixers before, and found them to be a niice mixer's. Watch for a leak between channels, and this was a problem i had with the Pro-120 Killer (green spider web looking mixa). But i doubt that will be a problem for you with the pm 524.

    I say go the omnitronic

It's definately better than the Gemini's (except UMX, but a completely different price range).

    Exclamation

    WORD OF CAUTION!

The Omnitronics have really weak headphone amps, so if you're planning to get one, make sure you get an external headphone amp. Otherwise, they're fine.

Hmm, I'd not say weak... More for headphones with low impedance.

If you hook up some of the better headphones (Technics, Sony or Sennheiser HD 25) they still got enough power to bust your ears!!!

I think they're weak, I personally used Sony V700's, which by no means is a low quality headphone, and I still found it fairly weak. Could be that I'm hearing impaired, but I have no problems whatsoever with my Vestax.

But to finally answer your question, Zion, flip a coin between the PS525 and DM2000.

Pm524 or DM2000 that's the two I would choose between.
