My turntable is making this wierd humming noise, its subtle when everything is playing low, but when i turn up my mixer it gets very annoying messes up my sample. How do i get rid of it? i have my turntable connected to a BBE Phono preamp into my mixer, out of my mixer and into my MPC.

Definetly a grounding problem, your tables should have come with a black ground wire. Look for the wire and then connect it to something metal that's grounded. If that doesn't solve the problem, it could be some type of feedback in your connections to the pre and computer. Jiggle your wires and see if anything gives you static sounds. If so, it could be in a bad cable or your connectors.

Connect the ground wire from the turntable to your preamp/mixer/MPC. If that don't fix it supply power to all your equipment from the same outlet. If that doesn't work get a power supply conditioner.
