First dj controller

Hey, I want to get into djing and I'm wondering what is a good cheap controller to buy.
Atm I'm split between the numark pro 2 and the behinger studio 4a
What controllers did you start off with?
Thanks rob

I wouldn't get a behringer. They are crap.

Have a look at the numark mixtrack pro 3, only slightly more than the 2.

The reviews on the behringer 4a are great, what's so bad about them?
And I don't like the touch slider on the top of numark pro 3, its too gimmicky
Other than that do you know of any good cheap controllers?

It's a strip search and isn't gimmicky. it allows you to jump to any point on the track at a touch.

Behringer are poor quality and poor build.

I'd also suggest a pioneer ddj sb

3.4-GHz quad-core Intel Core i5
8gb ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 750
1tb storage

Numark may be cheap and look like crap, but I started out on that little iDJ3 thingamajiggy and it never failed on me. I even threw it pretty far once, and it still worked great. I've used everything in between since, but I'd use a numark as a backup any day.

I second that Behringer is crap statement.

i started off with a hercules was really minimalistic but did the trick :p but id suggest you safe some money and get a good controller because its worth it in the long run

I would also recommend a DDJ SB2 as it costs only €250 (50 more than the behringer which I also don't recommend)
