Do today's headlining EDM DJ's actually mix live?

So I've seen a few Ultra music and Tomorrowland sets on youtube and the DJ's don't even look like they are mixing at all.

Does anyone else think they are just using pre recordings?

LOL

Yes. I always thought it was obvious, but it obviously isn't....
There are few who actually "modulate" in a live setting- GriZ being one of them. He actually plays live sax while DJ'ing. He could get every single piece that's in the building if he so desired. And i'm a hateriffic jellyfish for it.

Some DJ's like Afrojack would like you to think the opposite

Afrojack: "I've never seen anyone play a pre-recorded set"

Mixmag | AFROJACK: "I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYONE PLAY A PRE-RECORDED SET"

I think there was an interview with Deadmau5 a year or two ago saying that many DJs are just button pushers... himself included lol.
