get fl studio mate!! find some instrument kits and loops on the web cos some of the fruity packs suck!! but its good for begginers as its pretty easy to use and it is infact a very powerfull bit of kit,
it may look basic, and a lot of people slate it cos of the packs, but it is just as good if not better than all on the market!!
