Really liked both beats, i had to go with ISK i was feeling the drums alittle more. Sounded like a Big KRIT beat.
Not a bad battle.
ISK - I'd say theres alot of room for more instruments around your main melody, Maybe a lead synth? something that influences the beat abit more. Someone explained it to me as the part where you can hear somebody "goin in" on your beat - It needed that. It also really needed to reach that pinnacle point with like a chorus/hook synth and it didnt happen in my opinion...or build up to it.
901 - As for criticism, around 0.45 mark those strings sound alittle cheap in contrast to the rest of the beat, especially as its sampled its difficult to add too much to certain samples, may be because of the authentic sound in the sample, may be because of the sample using instruments slightly out of tune - Who knows. But anyway, i thought those strings really didnt work with it, so you might need to try a chord or a diff sound etc. Also the echo on the end of your clap/snap needs to be turned down abit.
My Decision is with 901. Purely by keeping me as a listener engaged more. Details such as the chopped voices, chopped guitar and horn As well as the switch up at the end of every 8 bar did it for me.
both keep it up. hope the feedback helps.

Since you are the one who organizes these battles which I commend you on Rice , I see that Benny Berg was last Months Hip Hop champion as well as Trap Champ
Has their ever been anyone who held both titles before like Benny ?
see ISK2009? thats how LOTR fans are loosing votes!
Trap Arena was a one time thing. No one entered for the next month so it ended. Benny wasn't in the first month's Hip Hop Arena but he entered the next month and won it. Hip hop Arena is only in it's third Month right now.
My vote goes to ISK2009, both good beats tho
