I knew this would be a nice sample battle.

But I had to go with Joseph Tunes

Joey, your nickname should be Joe Cool, cuz you bring some of the chillest beats to this competition, lol. I like the sample used, and I love the hook area when the girls kick in with the "ahhhh wee ahhhh" Just lovely. I thought the beat as a whole was slightly murky, but its no big thang.

W.A.I.S. Judging by the intro i was expectin it to drop into something epic, so I was a lil misled when the beat dropped. It took me a while to make sense of the melody, it just seems a little awkwardly chopped. I think the kick pattern was a lil awkward too.

yeah the mix is murky. doesn't even pop the same as the others.
that was when i didn't know as much about mixing.
i am so tempted to pull a george lucas and digitally remaster that baby but i never get around to it.

i liked both tracks...but i gotta go w/ W.A.I.S. mainly because it was more of a battle beat as opposed to a "laid back" joint...

lol at the pics, nice track joey, im having a hard time reading the competition. last battle i came with that mellow beat and did aaight so i tried to get a lil crazy with this one. this should be a good battle tho
