Online Beat Battles: taking it to the next level

Out of respect for this forum, I don't want to just turn up and post a link and a sitename, so I'll leave that until the end. But I am here to tell you about a new website, purpose-built for online beat battles from the ground up. (I'm the guy who built it, hi).

I can't stress enough that I'm not here to just try and steal anyone away from this community -- I'm looking to promote the site here because, if you're into beat-making at all, I genuinely think you'll be interested to see it. So far the response from producers has been hugely positive.

We've made some pretty radical improvements to the whole idea of online beat battles, things like:

Built-in voting system:

  • No more counting up forum posts manually.
  • Super-easy big green vote button, right next to each flip.
  • Rules like "Only one vote" and "No voting for yourself" hardcoded in.
  • Really easy to see who has voted where, right next to each flip.
  • We keep track of winners automatically, and show people's wins right next to their username whenever they enter any future battles.

User Profiles -- including:

  • A full history of flips made and battles entered.
  • Any wins you've had.
  • Total number of likes you've received on all your tracks combined.

There's more, but I don't want to go on forever. It's at BattleFlips.com if you want to come check it out. Please let me know what you think (either here on FP or over there), and definitely jump in the battle over the weekend if you're feeling it!! :D

(*Sorry I'm not allowed to make a clickable link, I haven't got enough posts... :shame:can someone awesome please post a reply below with a working link to make things easier?)

(Ps, when I say new I mean NEW: we're 5 weeks old and only on our 3rd battle!!)
