Why do interludes sound better than the songs!

Who can relate! you listen a really great interlude, head nodding anticpating the great song that's supposed to come next. Only to be left disappointed!! For me there have been many. Here's two from me!

I feel you. I like interlude's more than the songs on the album one of my fav interlude is MAXINE's INTERLUDE i know its not rap but I love this shit! lol wish it was 4:10+ song!

It's all good, as it doesn't just apply to hip hop. Got one by Omar Which was named "Magical mystery interlude" It was a 37 second interlude that lead into a song called outside! Although the track outside was good, it wasn't even close to how good the interlude did sound! Fortunately though he made a remix out of the interlude! Here it is, couldn't find the interlude on youtube!

The same with intro's. This mixtape from OJ sucked, but the only good track is the intro!!!!!

Though Love is Love is one of my favorite songs ever....I hated that the short clip wasn't a song.
