I really hate OP, primarily for plugging his website 3 times in the original post, which surely was his reason for creating this thread, but also because:

I don't see to many r&b singers, christian rappers, gospel singers, house music artist's ect.Is it because of the fame, all the champagne you can drink, all the money you can have? What really makes people want to only do hip hop and gangsta music. The industry is SOOOOOO saturated with some many gangster rappers or hip hop singers, pop singers and now even pop rappers. This to me is a HUGE reason why its so dam hard to make it in the hip hop or rap music industry, because its so saturated with artist doing the same thing. Keep in mind "THE SAME THING". I'am not trying to offend anybody just my thoughts and opinion on it. Whats yours

Well if WHP (FP cat) can produce for Ace Hood then turn around and drop this...I'd say expand your horizons.

I got tired of doing hip hop and R&B. So I went and found some pop/rock/country acts that wanted to sing.

They are all over the place. Literally all over facebook and all over youtube. There are at least 500 in your area alone.

Jump on the internet and find them. Send them some tracks that they can sing over, then invite them to record.

If you can't find any other genres to work with, that means you're not looking. They aren't going to fall in your lap.

I settled on hip hop because sample-based production allows me to continue to listen to any genre of music I want.
Anything can be made into a hip hop beat.

I think alot of people settled on hip hop because it's the easiest genre of music to make. Doesn't require much skill or musical knowledge.

True. These songs that come out today sounds very "soulless". I believe its because these dudes dont have musical skills, or cant even play live instruments, cause the "harmony" of these new song lack "character".

But hey, who am i to judge, I dont even play an instrument myself lol.
