What kind of stuff out there is worth spending money on in order to keep advancing your music career?

I have a few hundred to spend, but my mind is split on what to spend it on

    Facebook Promo?

    Broadjam membership?

    PMP membership?

    equipment?

    Own Website?

    Soundclick Promo?

    etc.

Just list some of the options that you think/know are worth spending money on

Education. Spend the money on books to help you learn.

Been to any conferences? IDK what area you're in, but the right conferences offer a lot of information, and you leave there pumped up, revving to go.

Because all of that stuff means nothing if you don't know how to make it make money for you.

I agree with j.troup, education would be wise to invest in.

Being able to "piggy back" off another brand's website allows you to "steal" their traffic and utilize their services if you don't have the programming skills to offer the same thing on your website.

But if u do have the programming skills why woudlent u utilize its fullest potential? Educating urself doesnt cost much thats what the internet is for and u can take out books from the library fre of charge do research or go to conferences they only cost like 40-75 bux so u can do all that and have ur own website ready to go .. build ur own traffic and fans or still use their traffic but put ur link to ur own wesbite aswell direct traffic to urs from theirs ...

    Thanks for the input fellas,

Yeah education would be a good idea, but like Benny is pointing out, I doubt books would be that expensive, especially taking the library route.

I hear the conference Idea too, I def plan to go to one in the future but circumstance would not make that the most feasible idea for the present.

The same goes for the website idea as well, I do intend to go the personal website route eventually, but I'm waiting until I have a decent enough presence/fanbase before I make that move. I think doing it too soon wouldn't be a good idea. I remember Traxx pointing that out in another thread

Facebook ads probably won't be that good, somebody in the comments mentioned books, that would be a good thing to invest into, you can never know too much.
