Producers, where is the FUTURE (of RAP)?

So what I'm hearing is that the future of music is turning Independent. HOWEVER, I did state that this thread was about the MUSIC, not the business! We know independents are driving the industry, because of their ability to stay creative. But where is the sound of Hip Hop going? So far I've heard what's already been around... R&B/ELECTRO/HOP w/e... but is it time for a new direction? Let me hear it.

I'd love to see a balance of Lyrical Rap and southern rap. I don't mind Dance songs, I don't personally listen to them but I do think the game needs to have like a 50/50% balance of Southern and Lyrical Hip-Hop in terms of Sales and radio play.
