I'm happy with what I have achieved, making music isn't as important to me anymore as it used to be.

Nah just have different priorities at the moment, still make music and love making it but family and work take the 1 and 2 spots. It is funny that I can spend years on making music losing money on even my most successful projects yet I can spend a week learning something in IT and get a $5k - $10k pay increase. What would you choose?

EDIT: Came up with this on Saturday, fire is still there .

how long have you been actually making beats??? young sir

by the definition that deranged put out there I'm very successful locally but that's when I used to do secular music

now that I'm all about Christ

For Christ to say to me
"Well done, my good and faithful servant"
while still being able to entertain the Church with my music ministry
this would be success for me

yes a beach house would be nice to share with my wife and kids too
    but I'm very blessed
and still doing more and more everyday
I'll have my production page up in 60 days and feeling very confident about the quality of the arrangements just got to get my mixing evironment tamed this wednesday and I'll be able to start what I want to to do mixing wise

so living artistry is nice when you're a young man and have no kids

    keep that in mind DjPolair
don't even come close to a woman
because once you do pregnancies come

    keep your fire young homie

I believe that I'll be quite successful. I always have believed that.

I'm creating my own success, not waiting for others to give it to me. My success is in making my clients successes. In helping them achieve their goals, and in seeing them get better and better.

I can't describe the feeling of when a client loves the work you've done and is excited about working.

I'm working with this young pop singer who is completely THRILLED about the record we're doing. She so excited, she loves the words, she loves the beat, and she loves how she sounds on the record. She's itching to put it out there so EVERYONE can hear it.

When a client is that motivated by your work, when they are that excited, they are willing to pay big bucks for it. Not only that, they are going to push the hell out of their work.

That's success for me. Making a living from my life's passion, and making my clients dreams come true.

I run Pro Tools sessions in a million plus recording studio at least 4 days a week so I'd say I've been pretty successful however, I wont get super rich like Diddy by tracking sessions...or maybe I will idk????

I feel like I will eventually gain some recognition in my area. Every producer dreams of getting major placements though. I believe I have or will make records that will get placed one day. But Quincy Jones and Dr. Dre will never be touched. That's the reason producers are joining forces and forming teams like The Olympicks and J.U.S.T.I.C.E Leauge. I think the focus of all us Future Producers should be forming more teams like these.
