    Free albums...

after awhile people aren't even going to get happy about getting placed on 'em.

You worked on that beat... he gave it away for free... smh. Are you supposed to feel special that somebody that felt they couldn't sell their album gave it away and you were on it? Give him your girl too while you're at it.

    So you'll see this trend...

"I got a placement on David Banner's album, you have to pay me..."

"Psst... he didn't pay you and gave your song away for free and I'm supposed to pay you? He got more money than me.... fool you crazy..."

There will be no more retail albums. Hip Hop is going back underground. All uploads. No budgets. $50 college guy mastering. $50 graphic designer.

.... 3,000 at the show $20 to get in = $60000 split up for the artist and promoter and flunkie opening acts.... 15 dates = $900,000 when they're done.

15 beats / songs on the mixtape - $20 leases from SC = $300 spent on beats

    $900,000 - $300 = $899,700.00 = artist goes home happy... $20 = 1/4 tank of gas for the beatmaker

    Wild math

    College mastering guy might charge them $50 per song... 50 x 15 = $750

    $898950 - $50 graphics guy

$898900.... still buy a house and whip

That's what beatmakers, bedroom engineers, and dorm graphic designers get for being cheap.

they want to sell 10 leases to make $200

= one full tank of gas and $100

    lol

watch, the only outlet will be blog / tube sites. They'll be getting ad revenue. All of the rap countdowns will disappear from TV.

All Chief Keef type stuff in a minute. Youtube & Blog sites. 2 years max.
