    1. Keep your head up even though you may fall sometimes
    2. Let your emotions out, who cares if it sounds whack to a few, SOMEONE will love it.
    3. Selling your instrumentals is 99% business, 1% music.

CrashPlan.com is my preferred secondary backup solution. Works on Mac, Linux, and Windows. $120/yr for 10 computers and unlimited backup. There is even a free plan, but the family plus is the best value you can get.

listen to the entire song first then skip to the parts you wanna sample and chop. been doing this nowadays, it works most of the time.

Don't let music make you become anti-social. You can lose your humanity and start to feel like your work is never done.
Isolating yourself from friends and family because you feel that next track will be the one. And don't let the need for money and placements
over-ride your passion for music. Once you start treating this like a business it's easy to lose focus and start doing it for the wrong reasons.
