for example in this tim westwood interview people clown drake for being well spoken. They say that he talks like a whiteboy, smh
would people rather prefer a rapper to talk like this in a interview? lol
what do you guys think about it?

it should be. niggas aint tryin to hear full sentences with subjects, nouns, prepositions, and predicates. annunciation is overrated.
I would take well spoken ANY DAY of the week.
The contrast is educated vs uneducated... I'm rolling with educated.
Everybody that talks dumb, wishes they didn't. They use "sound like a WB" as a self defense mechanism.
In essence they're dissing themselves and their people... what to black people sound like then?
... not all of us do though. I used to sound "country" but people say I don't now... it's because I'm conscious of how people will try to size you up. First by the way you look and second by the way you sound.
^^^ a lot of unspoken things ride on that.

^^^ minimum wage
I think it somewhat is, i personally dont mind it. The clips you posted are a perfect example actually, I cant stand Chief Keef just cause of dudes interviews lol.
So what you guys are saying is...
Hip Hop = Dumb Peoples Music
t.i. is very well spoken and gets a lot of credit for it, i think it depends on your skin tone, if your light skinned and well spoken they call you whiteboy, if your dark skinned and well spoken the other niggas go like HOLY SHIT THAT nIGGA CAN TALk, HE VERY INTELLIGENT
you sound like you we're a bully in high school, work at burger king and your facorite rapper is tyga...anyway
Everybody yelled surprise...I wasn't surprised...
it ain't a self defense mechanism. ask Plies. i'd rather talk and sound country, and people take me for being dumb. than being "well-spoken," even though I'm not really saying anything.
think about it like this.
you're in a court room, and you are in a place with a jury of your peers. so that should be people who you can talk to, understand, and eloquently express your thoughts, ideas, and arguments, in an effective manner.
now in that setting i would rather defend myself, and be able to appeal to those whom are my peers, in a straight forward manner, than have to rely on an attorney who gets paid to be "well-spoken" with judicial jargon.
most of the time people will believe the attorney even though he didn't really say anything, over the person who they can understand because the attorney used big words. so they obviously know what they're talking about.

i'm definitely not a bully. i have bullied someone before and it was the lamest shit ever. i wouldn't mind working at burger king. and i have never listened to tyga in my life. but if rack city is about titty's and not money, i probably would.
Stereotypes. The Drake issue is more complex than how he talks. I have no problem with "street" talk, the problem is when you don't know how to turn it off or that's all u have in your vocabulary. Place close attention to the vid young bloods.
