Beat pricing!

So I am creating some new ideas for selling beats to artists but I would love to really hear from the artist themselves. How much are you willing to pay for a high quality track for lease and for exclusive rights? There is no right or wrong answer I am just interested in getting some feedback. Thanks!

I would spend $20,000 for a high quality track according to my standards. I will put on a white lab coat and listen to one song of yours through multiple stereo and mono systems from the T.V to top dollar systems. And I will base my decision from that.


Oh...it's going to cost you $1000 for me to do that. My time is money. If I'm going to spend my money, I must know that you are serious and confident in your work to a point where $1000 is nothing. I charge you $100/hour.

Unless your jayz or pdiddy. I would never pay a underground/local artist to listen cuz there are to many out here that are willing to listen for free
