Oprah and 50 Cent are doing all they can to bring as much attention to themselves as possible.
50 Cent has a failing music career.

This is one of the best things they could do to drum up some mutual attention for themselves.

Oprah is still a billionaire. 50 still a multi-millionaire. So in the grand scheme of things I'd say they are doing ok. Neither will go broke anytime soon.
Also as far as him being boring now due to making nice with folks...not sure why its boring. People talked all kinds of trash when he was beefing with everyone, granted it was to sell records but it worked for a while.
I think he will end up like Ice T, moving away from music and into film and TV.
