ask him what "genre" is "easiest" to "place"

and which websites (if any) are the most beneficial to those interested.

and like ^ said, ask him what "credentials" are most favorable

and lastly...ask what "type" of music is least "favorable"...

Something along the lines of exactly what type of music they are interested in or would be preferred.

Would they still use a nice sounding track if the mix wasn't quite up to professional standards?

Do they only accept 'submitted' material or do they have people that actively look for good stuff on myspace, soundclick, PMP, etc?

Is there a 'standard' length the song or clip should be or do they edit that themselves if used?

Do they have a 'standard' contract that they use, or is it a negotiable case by case basis depending on who they are working with?

Do they use a track one time only, or try to reduce, re-use, and recycle?

Do they look down upon samples entirely, or if it is obscure enough, or flipped well enough will it be used?

If the song plays on a show I hate, will they pay me more?
