LOL does anybody always hear the same sound effects used?

For example there is one sound effect of a gate opening, the first time I ever heard it was in Resident Evil.

I shit you not since then I had to have heard it at least 20 times between different movies and TV shows.

Also there is one I keep hearing of a lady screaming that I think I may have heard on some really cheesy Halloween sound effects thing about 15 years ago.

Yeah It happens all the time. There is also that growl that has been used for monsters in countless movies/shows.

Yep! I know the one you talking about. Classic! lol! You know it's the same scream by how it's recorded......has a little distortion in the middle of the scream.

Another classic is the arcade scenes on TV shows back in the days. It's the same audio ever time. And those gun shot ricochets.

there's this plop sound they used to use in cartoons when they fall and hit the ground. i can't help but laugh whenever i hear it, especially when it's in live action movies. it always seems so out of place. they used it ALOT in enter the dragon.
