Rock N Roll is Dead

Faith No More are (was) great! You know I'm not a rock fan, they really come through.
Incubus have made a very cool act with a rap band on the soundtrack for "Spawn", one of the best rock songs I've heard yet. - Can't remember the name.
 
December 21, 2012 is the last date on the Mayan Calender. It's believed that on that date a great change will occur. no one knows whether it's for the better or for the worse.

That incubus song on the Spawn soundtrack is called Familiar.

Rock is definately not dead!

Alright boys & girls...rock radio jock here...rock is not dead. In fact it's on the rise UNLESS YOU'RE A CLUB DJ...which I have been. I've DJ'ed just about every genre radio and club scene and I've never seen rock come up (back) as fast as it has in the past 6 months. 3 Doors Down is a good example to use. Nothing but pure instrumental rock and it's good enough to beat out all the little(on-top-o-the-world) boy bands and britney (im a whoo-a) spears in all the recent awards shows. Watch Superbowl XXXV...you'll see Styx, Sting, Bon Jovi-pre-game, and Aerosmith-half time. Highest paid TV broadcast of the year worldwide and it's all about the rock scene. ROCK DEAD? I don't think so. Maybe your personal opinion.. but who knows how long the ride will last.

i agree rock is dead and it sucks, with the new wave of 'nu-metalsers', and commercial 'on yo ***' pop and rap music, rock at the moment seems to have no future. At the moment there are very few bands out there that i think will last much longer.

Thats not to say there are no good new bands out there, Muse, My vitriol are but a few, but the question is, will they last when there are people like 'Steps' etc... ?

it sucks but its true.
 
whats up with eveyone saying rock is dead? its not dead its just not popular and i like it that way. there is plenty of not so well known bands that kick any pop rock bands booty.
 
what and waste 2 minutes of my time? i'm a busy man! i'd rather just say something stupid and incite new debates.
