Metallica Sounds Better on Guitar Hero

yeah it sounds much better. weirdly, there's no clipping and there's a mastered version that someone made from guitar hero available on a torrent. i downloaded that one and listen to it more than the cd version

I think its a personal thing. I agree. But...some true metallica fans might not agree.

The original CD version was on purpose overcompressed. They also added 5+ gain on the final mix from what I know. That was a terrible mistake. The reason the Guitar Hero files sounds better is that they actually aren't mastered. They were on Guitar Heros table earlier becuase they had to make the game ready.
