    Classic Metal Records

I am looking for some genre-defining classic Metal records. Like Metallicas "Kill em all" to "Master of Puppets" period or Slayers "Reign in Blood".

While i was a big fan of the genre i was also very young and uninformed. Maybe i missed out on something. I also remember Anthrax "Among the Living".

My interest in Metal somehow ended with the tragic death of Cliff Burton (R.I.P.). I saw Metallica live on MTV two days ago on Germanys "Rock am Ring"-Festival and they only played like three new songs the rest was classic material like "Seek and Destroy" and "For whom the bell tolls". I was stoked that i still remembered every line and every break. I listened to it all the time in the early 80's.

So if anybody could recommend something for me it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not in the band, but I get to be guitar tech/stage manager/groupie finder/etc.

What do you think of their stuff?

Yes they're working with a producer here in Atlanta who has worked with everyone from Sevendust to Stuck Mojo to Butch Walker and a bunch of crappy brit-rock bands.

To see them live is really amazing because they are one of the tightest groups (household name or otherwise) I have ever seen.
Sorry we can't let you in.
