my first post seemed to disapear. Hi I am wondering if it would be suitable to play this style of music at a rave. . If not what would be the most suitable venue for this style of music?

Big beat style, sounds like The Prodigy or Chemical Brothers. I don't see why not, they the pioneers of EDM. They kinda started it all IMO.
If this music isn't allowed at the rave you're attending screw that place! haha

depending on your timeslot you could pull this stuff off.... but keep in mind the progression of this type of music requires a perfect track selection...
basically if you dont play it just right you will clear the floor, unless the place is packed and people are amped up anyways.

Depends. Don't go to a commercial rave or all you will hear is pop, house, and dubstep spinoffs.
depends on the night and venue, I'd try to avoid playing a full set of IDM, even for guys who dig it there can be too much of a good thing.
bumpershoot seattle, this weekend, monday night skrillex!
