Hard Trance/Dance song, please post for feedback :)

Hi everyone,

I am a new member to future producers and an amateur producer starting out.

I am looking for feedback of all types whether technical or audibility of the song, obviously whether you like it or not.

The dj and mixer Steve hill can be used as reference point to understand the bpm, structure and sounds of this particular genre.

For someone just starting out that sounds excellent. I'm a fan of hardcore, rave, psychedelic. The second lead theme was great. If I could tell you anything is wrong with this, I'd say it's too short.

hey mate, thanks. yea its a work in progress, i find the hardest parts are just putting those random stabs and one shots in place to make the song more exciting. i intend to make it longer.

pretty good, but id like the bass be more dirtier bassier.

thanks for the feedback, i was going to make it bassier at the end when i finish the song. in terms of the dirtier, there is a lot of distortion on the bass already so the only thing left that wouldnt affect the sound of the song would be just to notch it down an octave, but then it would be too deep and the sounds would be hardly heard for the bass. if you have an suggestions for making it dirtier, id appreciate the help.

Sounds good yeah. You could add another drum that'd add that bassier feel to it. The bass drum is idd distorted a lot, sounds good. You could easily layer it with a kickdrum/bass drum to get the more boomie feel. If that would be what you want though.
For the rest, I agree what's been said, but as you say, that's all stuff you are gonna do already.

Add another bass drum as a layered drum ? so two drums on top of eachother basically?

Yeah, one being the distorted one you have now and the other just merely adding what you want to add for feel to it, nothing less and nothing more. Eq'ing and compressing to tweak it to get it.

For the 2nd part id layer the kick with a dirty bass as suggested.Its actually what i should start doing for my tracks too. Btw I followed, so far liking what youre doing.

Thanks for the feedback.i am following you too technologic. i got another 5 songs in working progress, hopefull within the month i should have them finished mixed and mastered.

ok so i wanted to post again to show the progress of the song and get feedback again on the flow of the song.

I have organised an audio engineer to mix and master the song, so bass/reverb/volume levels etc will be sorted out when i take the song into him. I had a go and I cant get the sound that im looking for.
