hey guys, I started making music very recently and just finished my first song. the song is in my signature since they wouldn't let me post it in the post. I'd really appreciate some feedback. Thanks

You're definitely off to a good start. Once you get some good reverbs, sidechaining, and some extra sound effects and all you could be on to something. It's very videogame-esque but I like that. Try adding a melody? It may be a cool idea to side chain the later synth line to something on 1 and 3 to make it pulse some, it can add a really cool feel to it. Good start though :-)

Definitely got to adjust the mix here. The synth is very loud compared to the drums at times. And that's a +1 to what roidquaker said, add some more melodies, and have your chords in the background and build on it.

thanks alot for the feedback guys. in the part where the chords come in i intentionally made the drums really quiet, did that sound bad?

i like the idea alot, I think it should have more chord progression... I hear a really good melody coming out of it also, cool thing about projects is you can always go change things for the better later. feedback is awesome as well, it's helped me in the first few projects i worked with so i'm giving you some advice (although i'm no expert) i'm pretty new at making music as well.... aside from just playing guitar and vocals.

just experiment with sounds, and progress with your ear and whatever you think sounds good. ask your friends what they think for some good advice from a different perspective. tweak. fiddle. <it's endless..... the possibilities.
