Hello everone,

i am a dancehall collector since a while and now i am at the point where i want to make my own little riddims to put some acapellas on it.

The problem i have is that i cant figure out how they get this 97-2003 era groove.
You cant find that much information on the net about that and some ppl told me they personally
doing productions with Kontakt and a bunch of soundbanks.

I would like to know wich kind of equipment they had in that era and are there vsti's who could imulate that sound, or do i have to buy the old synths at ebay or something.

Wich kind of sequenzer they had in this time and wich one was the most common.

Whats about the effects and filters ?
