Who is the dopest producer ever in hip hop?

DJ Premier is the best. His monotone, simple loops and scratched choruses is a formula that has created so many classic beats I can't even count them. Only Gang Starr albums would be enough, but his work with Jeru, Nas, KRS etc. make him the greatest ever.

I agree.

I would have to pic Timbaland, Dr. Dre and Scott Storch.

Timbaland knows how to put sounds together in a way other producers can't.

Dr Dre's music is sonically crispier than the rest. Till date i have yet to hear another
album sound as clear as Dre's 2001.

Storch always was a master at melodies, i always respected dude's piano background
and how he translates that into what he does.
