anyone else catch Kendrick on Colbert report?

was impressed that it was a "live" performance - obvious backing of drums and keys but everything else was done live - percussion, bass (sweet bass that it was too), saxophone, backing vocals

lyrically strong though I guess you will have to listen a few times to get it all

You on it coach! A friend of mine hipped me to it earlier.
It was his last show, he had Thudercat on bass, Terrance Martin on sax and Bilal as one of the vocalist. Nice band!

Some may find some of the lyrics offensive.

Yeah his performance was amazing. I liked the interview as well, he seems like a really down to earth person. Especially for a rapper! haha

That track was refreshing, very innovative. Kendrick is slowly creeping on the Top 5 dead or alive.
