I was born in the late 80's.. So it was basically the 90's for me. There was so much impact at that time to where you just knew you were a hiphop head if you listened to public Enemy,Krs-one,Gangstarr,Common,Epmd,X-clan,Dr.Dre & Snoop,Tupac and so on. For me it solidified hiphop at it's highest peak for me.

I like all of them, because even 10's have really good hip-hop there if you just take your time and look for it.

Overall the 90's in terms of both mainstream and underground. There was much more of a raw feel back then but regardless underground Hip-Hop from the 2000's onwards has for the most part been RAW AS ****!!!
