The Majority of Rap Culture Is African American Influence Why?
Not to sterotype or put in a box but i see the majority of Mainstream rappers who are Predominantly famous are all african americans 'theres barely any avenues for young ,whites,hispanics/mexicans,and oriental ethnicity to expand there culture in general but get manipulated by African American Rap/black Culture ?

How Can you compete with a market saturated by African American Rappers?

The Answer is you can't and you'll never break threw the business for certain ideological reasons .

I really don't understand what you are trying to say?
If you are excluding Latinos in the beginnings of hip-hop, you're overlooking the a key component in the NY history.
Blacks may have a key role in the culture as a whole, but make no mistake who runs the business side-not blacks.
Last I checked Em was on his way to eclipsing 2pac for total sales, and he ain't black.

Hip-hop originated in the African American economically depressed South Bronx back in the late 70's. While the hip-hop culture emerged white people were busy working good jobs, building houses and paying expensive college tuition for their children.

Hip-hop is BLACK wallstreet BISH get IT?

...and let's not even try to discuss what happened during the REAL Black Wall Street in Tulsa...

You could ask why Caucasians dominate rock/metal. People of all colors like what they like. That's just the way it is. There are few, if any, blacks in the polka genre, but not because of discrimination or a conspiracy. Most blacks(and whites) don't care for polka music. That's life.

So white people own basically everything known to man and complain about one of the few things they don't lol. Also Eminem is arguably a top 10 rapper of all time. There are tons of amazing Latino rappers.

Hip Hop (High.Infinite.Power.Healing.Our.People) is a heavily influenced african american culture, because it was built on a foundation by the people and for the people. It was our way of communication through word, sound, & power just as our ancestors were taught. True enough, hiphop did start in the bronx during the late 70's and early 80's, but it was influenced from it's african roots such as african tribal music, jazz music, blues, & so on.. In order to understand hiphop, you must start from the root of the tree to understand it's branches.

I think rap and hip hop came into existence in african american communities because of a socio-economical atmosphere in the second half of the 20th century... It is a form of music that lets you speak your mind more freely and helps you get heard...

what a dumb question...

why is country music predominantly white?

why is Mariachi music predominantly Hispanic?

why is Chicano hip hop predominantly Chicanos? lmao...

its because the music is a soundtrack to the culture or a way of life

u don't see many blacks in country music cuz not many black people live on a farm, chew tobacco, drive a broke down ford truck and inbreed with there sister...

you don't see to many Asians in punk rock bands cuz not to many Asians like to have long hair, tattoos and cut there wrist...

That's why African americans dominate hip hop.. cuz it is affiliated with there culture.. tho hip hop culture has slowly changed and gotten more mainstream American culture, it was created in urban segregated ghettos filled with poor people, drugs, gangs and crime and that is what the songs were about and rapping became a way to make it out of these tough circumstances... that is the culture hip hop comes from and there is not a lot of whites, Asians, ect that come from that culture...

Has nothing to do with whether a person is black, white, Latino, Chinese, etc. you make good music you sell. You make poor quality music you don't. Very simple. Same as in sports. If your good, nobody cares what color you are.

OK let me ask you, if you could choose anyone and you enjoyed bagpipe music who do you want to see playing the bagpipes?

That being said if some crazy good bagpipe player did something in America you would want to see that too but it would have to be more than just the normal bagpipe music otherwise you would want to see it where it originated.

If you make music that inspires people to share it you sell*
