these ppl don't need to use the "n" word
Reach Records
A Trusted Name in Christian Rap / Hip-Hop | Cross Movement Records (CMR)

and plenty of ppl love eminem he doesn't use the "N" word
it's not needed and disrespectful to our ancestors,
learn about who the real uncle tom is
Reverend Josiah Henson
helped more slaves than Harriet Tubman but not many black folks even know about him
just use the word "Uncle Tom" as a insult and don't know Josiah Henson is a true black hero
heard this before
put it in a book if you don't want a black person to know it??????????????????????????????????????
if we use the "N" word we might as well call ourselves

2.Blackie
3.Coon
4.Jungle Bunny

maybe back in 2004
say negro James
I didn't say it much unless I was rapping back when I use to do secular music
I started saying it at a young age to
and cussing
but I don't do either now...
I don't need those words to express myself as a black man/human being
that's how I see it
I see it as child-like and ignorant
but it take time to change
watch this over and over
and see if you still like using the "N" word

Why wouldn't it be good? It's just a single word. Only some rappers with really and I mean really simple lyrics would be effected too negatively. Wocka Flocka and Chief Keef might be loss lol

I agree, but at the same time those are the types of rappers that are hot now

nobody is really paying any attention to the conscious rappers

It's almost like if It doesn't have the word nigga in it it's not a hit

I'm talking about as far as mainstream hip hop goes

do you think if we took the word nigga out of mainstream hip hop would It still sound good?

It'd still sound good. I only used Wocka Flocka and Chief Keef as an example because they overuse that word. Most mainstream rappers really don't use the word as crutch too much because they're trying to appeal to a wider base of people and that word works in opposition to that goal.

IMO the word has lost a lot of its power to offend, but that's another story

I think your Buzz will be fine as long you don't try to make not using the n-word a featured part of your gimmick. If you try to point it out to your audience then I honestly think some people would feel you less and write you off as a a bit more corny or family friendly...which is usually not the image a rapper wants to intentionally aim for.

Just look at Eminem....made a legendary career out of rapping without ever dropping the N bomb. (and he doesn't make a big deal out of it)

This topic reminds me of when Rick Ross first caught on out here and Power106 would play his songs.... So much of the songs where bleeped out that cats only knew the choruses lol

If nigga was removed from all rap, it woudnt make much of a difference. Curse words are mostly just placeholders. Niggas just like to say nigga though.

what I'm saying Is do you think It'll still gain recognition or become a hit?

Why Not? I've never heard somebody say "I can't listen to this song because he didn't say nigga." The word doesn't hold as much power in rap as it does outside of it. I mean not many people listen to see if the word is in a song or not. Truthfully I can't really tell you what hit Hip Hop songs have the word in it and which ones don't because I like a lot of other people don't listen to hip hop just for that word
