if u had to guess?

and do u think a regular up and comming emcee can get a hold of one..or does he only work with his crew and his associates and stuff?

A bazillion dollars.

He'll work outside of his team. I forgot his manager's email addy, but you can prolly track it down in one of his interviews.

He only works with his crew, and you have absolutely no hope of getting one of his beats.

$10,000+.
That's a guess, but for his credits, it's cheap.
Wouldn't be surprised if it's more then 20gs.
Danja charges $20,000-50,000.

^Jokes man, jokes. Alot of that sarcasm going on around here lately, I just wanted to contribute.

@Ceased Werds, I feel where you're comin from kinda, but i think sayin he has no shot at all is a lil strong.no, he cant just hit him up on myspace askin for beats.

im sure that if he met 9th and built with him, he'd have a shot cause he's done that before and eventually made albums with people like skyzoo.

one miiiillion dollars....

Danja has several Billboard hits under his belt and a couple platinum and multi-platinum albums, 9th is nowhere near close to his price tag.......

Depends. I'm sure he made about $20k upfront for that Destiny Child track, but other than that, he hasn't done anything "BIG".

Most of the underground artists he's working with are probably getting good deals. This industry is based on convincing people you get more money than you really do, but you honestly think Little Brother, Ceasar Comanche, Bootcamp Click, Jean Grae, ect. have budgets to throw dude 10-20k a track?

You really think 9th's so rich he won't work for any less? Being a musician and landing something big is like being a construction worker and hitting it big at the Casino or Racetracks. You still gotta keep your dayjob, so if you were selling beats for $500 before that placement that put 20k in your pocket, you most likely will be selling for close to the same after it(until another big artist comes knocking).

I hate counting other people's money, but off major placements and the royalties, I'd bet 9th has maybe seen $200-250k his whole career. That's not to say that's all he's making, don't forget the FL endorsements(lol), underground productions, seminars he teaches, ect.

so 9th wonder's prolly making some bank huh?

i wanna reach that level...like where im living comfortably....but not really in the spotlight like storch dre timbo,,know what i mean?

I don't know if he's still doin it, but 9th was a teacher of a hip-hop course at a university. I believe in NC so that's a steady check..

shoot i would love to be in 9th's shoes as far as his job and all.

I remembered this vid of 9th talkin about it:

*He* charges what his manager sets up regarding the situation.
