Sounds like another rubbish thread, but I couldn't find anything similar.
I want to surf through new music so post Your fav. musicians, preferably not uber-famous, and maybe with a song example :)

Here are my personal bests:

1) Phonat - very emotional and soothing music.
2) Savant - he takes advangage of having autism, surfing through genres like a pro.
3) Culprate - sick drops combined with nice melodies.

If i wanted to make a full list, it would have around 30 slots, so just few more :D

Deadmau5
Kill The Noise
Skrillex
Dillon Francis
Borgore
ZEDS DEAD
Noisia

As you can see, quite wide range of music styles, so feel free to leave your faves!

And oh, try to avoid doubling artists

Keep in mind that some of them are über underground, like Distimia and Hocico, for example. At least, I stumbled upon them out of nowhere. You know, you listen to one artist and then click on "similar artists" link? :)

Yeah, ofc i do, but my library is quite big, and some similar artists showing up on YT etc. are just repeating ;)
And I mainly wanted to know what other users listen to, and maybe get few more that i'll like :D

Well, you can expect some harsh sounding electronic music on my playlist, then...

Theres so many. I used to be right into Skrillex but nowdays rarely listen to him. Lately I'm more into:
Boards of Canada, XXYYXX, Aphex Twin, Mount Kimbie, Massive Attack, deadmau5(of course), Justice, Daft Punk, and Orbital. I'm glad I discovered the non-dance side of electronic, it is absolutely beautiful!! Pls reccomend any great artists similar to these, I'd love to get into more :)

Scuba and Synkro are great! So is Aphex Twin (grew up with his music), Massive Attack, deadmau5 (!!), NIN, and Pendulum!

I love Burial, Gus Gus, Bonobo, Solar Fields, Jon Hopkins, Nero, Apparat, Moderat, Tipper, Sbtrkt, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Darius, old Calvin Harris-tracks, Zedd, Sub Focus, Hybrid, Underworld, etc..

Update from me!

Recently I discovered Moody Good and i fell in love with his music.
Check out newest album, it is REALLY worth listening to. Diversity from chill to deep bass music. Approved!

These are big artists but whatever, you might not listen to some so lets see if i can convert you.

Eminem - Complex and interesting rhymes and flows with a lot of life drama to keep you entertained.
Biggie - Some of the best delivery i've heard with simple but impressive flows and intensely violent lyrics.
Pac - Rough and yet inspiring with reflective depth on life as a "thug".
Atmosphere - Head twisting metaphors and refreshing production and a truly honest vulnerability to it.
Nas - Great polished lyricism with good production and a insightful look at life from his perspective.

Edit: just realised this is in the Electronica genre, regardless you should listen to these artists :P

Zedd - as much as people claim that he sold out to commercialism, it's his musicality that I admire in terms of production. The chord progression for tracks like "Find You" is not predictable, and the flow of energy from calm to energetic, in my opinion, is what makes that track so special. "Stay the night", while way overplayed, was the first Zedd track I truly appreciated because of Hayley Williams (who doesn't love Hayley). Clarity and Spectrum were kinda "meh" before I took the time to listen to them and really took notice of his musicianship.
Sonny Moore - Yes, I realize that a lot of people loathe his sound, especially among dubstep purists. However, he brings a raw energy to each of his productions. The way he patterns his drums are just exciting, and he innovates his basslines every now and then. Plus, he also manages to think outside of the box, as is the case with his latest album "Recess" which, for me, was him in experimentation mode. Playing around with deep house, trap and even some nonsensical troll music in the form of "Doompy Poomp", it was a sign of growth from the usual brostep sound. However, my love for him did start with Scary Monsters.
Deadmau5 - I never really took notice of him until a year ago, eventually growing fond of his chord progressions and the varying moods of his tracks. A favorite of mine is his collaboration with Kaskade, "I Remember" which is just as melancholic with the melodies as it can get, but rather bouncy at the same time.

Nice thread, alot of good music here :)

Haven't seen blackmill in the thread yet. That's worth checking out if u haven't heard. Pretty laid back and relaxing dubstep.
