My name is Ryda' Ezy.. Been looking for a music forum/community to share my sounds.

I make Afrobeat music i am really glad to find a place where i can put out my music creation and get honest feedback ... Thinking about taking music seriously. currently doing this as an hobby but i guess now i have a source of knowing if i should really do this or not.

Hey, where you at/from, ryda? I've been to Ghana; just got back from Kenya this week...

Hey man. I'm in Buffalo, NY. Might be doing some projects in Africa over the next year or two. The weather is certainly different from what I'm used to!

I like what you're doing. Good production, great juxtaposition of samples and composed elements. The plucky guitar line panned left (forget which song) is raw and effective. Good overall mix, and I like the vocal elements too.

I must admit though-- it all sounds like straight-up contemporary hip-hop/trip-hop to me. Is this what's currently happening in Nigeria? For someone like me (coming from the Fela/"Black Man's Cry" era of Afro-Beat), it's a little confusing. I am somewhat familiar with Ghanaian "hip-life;" is your music influenced by any of that?

Hello guys, I'm a producer from Zambia. I make afro-beat, alternative, and hip hop. If you want any beats of those kinds I'm keen to collaborate.

You should really keep going and nothing should keep you stopping from doing what you can and love to do :) <3
