Just a quick question. I've been experimenting and reading forums and stuff for a bit now and I really just want to know the way you learned, or the way you think is best to learn how to mix and just everything you need to know to make hot beats.

Is there a book you'd recommend buying?

no book. do it. experiment. expect to do it poorly for at least a few years. that goes for mixing and producing, really EVERYTHING. good luck.

best book i ever read was the mpc manual. seriously.
