What are your preferences of producer credit when you sell a beat to someone?
I once heard a well known producer say if an average joe bought a beat from him, the artist shouldn't put "produced by ___" because simply selling a beat is completely different than actually producing a song.
So if you sell someone a beat but don't necessarily have involvement in the song making process, would you still want "produced by you" next to the song title?
