I made a blog post about selling beats on soundclick

Also here is info on the ad options on soundclick

Ultimately, sales on soundclick boil down to your marketing game. ADVERTISE WHERE ARTISTS HANG OUT AT ONLINE. Wherever artists are online is where you should be advertising. If you have an advertising budget, then advertise on soundclick otherwise I would not recommend it. The competition among producers on soundclick is super competitive. Nowadays you have to buy ad space 60 days in advance. Try ads on music forums. Youtube is also another great ad platform. Promote on social networks.

The other critical piece of advertising will be your conversion ratio (the amount of traffic that you convert to paying customers). If you have 30 people come to your website and only 5 people buy beats, your conversion ration is 1:6 meaning 1 out of 6 people will buy a beat. Your conversion ration is affected by a many things, but some of the important ones are: YOUR BRAND (includes presentation of your website, quality & quantity of beats etc) and YOUR RELATIONSHIPS W/ CUSTOMERS. YOUR RELATIONSHIPS W/ YOUR CUSTOMERS HAVE A HUGE IMPACT ON YOUR SALES. Begin building strong positive relationships with artists and the money will follow. Thats just my 2 cents though. Hope that helps.

First things first, make sure your beats are hot. I haven't listened to your stuff so I'm not saying it's bad, but before you even worry about anything related to sales or marketing, worry about making your product. As far as marketing goes, if you have a budget, I'd invest in a few promos on SoundClick to get your name out there. If you buy a frontpage spotlight, or promo song of the day, you're basically guaranteed a spot in the top 25 on the charts which will bring thousands of people to your page. Definitely try and build a positive relationship with artists, definitely helps sales. The artists that buy from me the most are the ones that I talk to weekly for the most part. Also, YouTube/FaceBook/Twitter are all great ways to promote your stuff, but don't spam. Approach people in a respectful way, and they'll listen to your stuff almost every time. Good luck, & I hope this helped.

Quality music speaks for itself. If you spend the time and effort perfecting your craft, people will take notice. Quality producers attract quality artists. Quality artists are usually business orientated, meaning they are more likely to purchase a beat/instrumental from you. If you are using FL studio to make your beats google: Warbeats

OK, I have read your post. I have some ideas how to sell beats via soundclick that i discuss with you. You need to get into the right frame of mind if you expect to make some serious selling beats online. You need to understand that exclusive sales are not the only type, and in fact: online you should be going after non exclusive sales. This means that you can sell the beat over and over again without ever having to give up full ownership. You can also use the websites such as Facebook, YouTube and MySpace to promote your SoundClick. The main reason you want to promote your SoundClick more than any of other website is because of its charts system.
