money from the BEATS used for an album????

I'm trying to get more understanding on the business side of the music industry.

If I have a beat that is wanted to get placed for a major albums

What are the best deals and fair deals for the money I should get from it?

I really don't understand royalties, percentages and all that.

So I just want to make sure I dont get ripped off on any placements that may happen.

Any advice??

rather it be the guy down the street, a indie artist, or a major artist
royalties and % are about what you negotiate

1. you need to be signed up to a PRO (Performing Rights Organization)
2.Register the Copyright to your music
3.Be a Music Professional
