Managers bring a small percentage of your business. Manage yourself for the best results, and before seeking management.

Focus on music. I personally like to manage myself because I believe that no one is harder working or more passionate about me.... than me. My philosophy is that unless you actually need a manager, and most people don't, your better off doing it yourself. Maybe having an assistant is the better route.

Yea i was just wondering cuz me and my cousin are in the process of being signed to an independent label, so I didnt want to be stressed out with the business side of our music and not be 100% focused on the emotional lyrical and entertainment part of it.

Well we had an ent lawyer look over the contract. but for future deals while were under contract and we dont have a manager, out a&r will act as manager.
