anyone familiar with berklee?

indians love hip-hop.
thinking about a change in my school plans and am looking for universities with majors in recording arts

nyu's clive davis school looks good, but is anyone familiar with berklee?
my question is if playing an instrument is a requirement, even tho i want to do engineering
 
I'm pretty sure you can find on the website that playing an instrument is a requirement. You have to audition by playing an instrument to get into the actual school, and if you wanna be in their production school, you will have to apply again. I'm also thinking of transferring there, but I really don't know yet.
