    Looking for some Reason colab

    Hey lads,
I was wondering, is there someone around who'd like to work together and get some ideas flowing and learn some stuff from each other?
I was thinking of setting up some stuff in Reason than sending it back and forth, Adjusting and adding stuff every time and see if we can get some creativity going and/or learn from what stuff's been adjusted or added.
From adding effects to it, setting up an instruments, eq'ing, mixing, compressing, whatever.
Preferably in Reason 6 so we can use the SSL like console, but if you only own Reason 5, it'd beat not doing anything I'd say.

The way above I just described you'd be working with a mailing list.
I don't know if the mods on FP would be happy with it, but the coolest would be to do it in a topic. (As far as I found out, we're not allowed to attach .rns files).
That someone starts by putting up a rns file as a forum post attachment than someone else adjusts it and posts that attachment. To prevent two ppl simultaneously working on the same rns file we could have the first person to post that he's gonna do the adjustment and that within an hour of that post, he or she needs to edit the post and attach the rns file to it.

So, how about it? Anyone interested?

Wouldn't mind participating in this. I only have Reason 5 so if anyone else is up for it and has that we're sorted!

I take it we'll be just using stock instruments? Any preference in style or just seeing where we can take it? Is there a limit on the number of tracks someone should mess around with? Would be good just to get a few ground rules but they can be flexible imo

b side and wax and everyelse that uses reasons 5. if im not mistaking reason 3 or 4 can read 5 and vise versa.
But anyway lets start something like a reason club. sign up to my site.

create a audio file of what you want to colab with.
and upload the audio sample and the reasons file to you profile.

Only members of BEATSURBAN will be able to download the file if you make it available for download.

If atleast 4 other people get involved ill create a whole new page for use 5 and whomever else so we can share sound an info.

and further more im on board i have so reason 5 files so let colab on that

    Hmmm,
can't open Reason 6 files in Reason 5... Having to run Reason 5 and Reason 6 on one computer sucks, I've already tried doing that. Keeps messing up my preferences in Reason.
So I'd still be looking for someone who wants to colab on Reason 6.

I wouldn't restrict too much, just see where the creativity takes us.
Factory soundbank idd, maybe with the mid side mastering patches from selig.
With Reason 6, they're already included.

Anyway, you guys go ahead, I'd still be looking for someone who's got Reason 6 to get something going.

Stop the unecessary rudeness I'd say. What did I do to deserve this level of communication? I would've liked you showing you got some decency and know how to communicate in a respectful manner. Ah well...
Anyway, I don't really feel the need of proving I own Reason 6 to you, so I won't. It feels like you are inclining that I don't own it. If I actually look past the rudeness and look at the content your posting. The bits where you state something of what I wrote was bs.
It was a bit thick on top you're doing your best to advertise you're site in this post. Which is not a bad looking site on a first glance.
About registering on your site and the opurtunity you are giving me here and what I should be thankful for, did it occur to you I wasn't looking for becoming a member of yet another community/forum/website?
Anyway, you probably killed this topic dead, but if there are still ppl interested in some colab on Reason 6, reply here or PM me.

P.S. I don't know why I'm still trying to prove a point/defend myself. Probably because you offended me. Telling me I'm bs'ing and not even making it clear what you actually mean with that. Not that I'm still looking for an explanation on your side. I rather stop our communication completely after this twist. Anyway, I don't like the propellerhead forum setup. I think it's structure/layout doesn't work well. I rather use their forum the littlest as possible.

P.P.S. I'm gonna guess some more. You're manner of speach suggest you got offended by me saying I won't use Reason 5, but Reason 6 instead/ that I'm more or less declining your offer. Wouldn't hurt you, or others, if you'd look into some basic feedback skills. Anyway, it was not my point to offend you. I was just stating that I won't install Reason 5 next to 6, which I am running. As I said...
